From Mirror reports The Altoona Curve announced the creation of Pints for Vets, presented by Ward Trucking and Sugarlands Distilling Company, earlier this week. The new beer, wine, and spirits sampling event will be held at Peoples Natural Gas Field on Saturday, May 18, with proceeds benefiting Band of Heroes Outdoors, a nonprofit organization that combats PTSD and veteran suicide through hunting, fishing and enjoying the therapeutic aspects of the outdoors. CurveFest scheduled for Saturday, March 2

The Altoona Curve announced on Tuesday that the team will holds its annual CurveFest on Saturday, March 2, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at PNG Field. Fans will be given their first opportunity to purchase single-game tickets. Fans that have season tickets, or mini-plans, willhave their first opportunity to pick up their tickets for the upcoming season.
