Seth Beer collected just his second career triple for Altoona, which had a 3-1 lead at one point in the game, but the RubberDucks rallied late at Canal Park to improve to 23-12. From Mirror reports The Altoona Curve and Somerset Patriots were postponed due to rain on Friday night at Peoples Natural Gas Field. The game will be made up as a doubleheader on Saturday with a 2 p.m. first pitch in game one. The doubleheader will consist of two seven-inning games. The fireworks for Saturday’s game will be rescheduled for a future date this season. Those with tickets to Friday’s game will be able to exchange them for another home game this season of equal or lesser value, subject to availability.
