Cruz starts rehab assignment with Curve

From Mirror reports Pittsburgh Pirates outfielder Oneil Cruz is in Altoona for a rehab assignment tonight. The Pirates announced this afternoon that Cruz will be in the lineup when the Curve host the Reading Fightin Phils at 6 p.m. Cruz, who was placed on the seven-day concussion injured list on August 13, is batting .207 with 18 home runs and a National League leadin 34 stolen bases.
