ERIE -- Four Curve pitchers combined on a one-hitter, and Altoona secured a 3-3 week at Erie with a 4-1 win over the SeaWolves on Sunday.
Dominic Pipkin started a bullpen day for the Curve and tossed two hitless innings to start the day. Josh Loeschorn, who earned his fourth win of the season, followed with three scoreless frames, allowing just one hit and one walk with three strikeouts.
Jaycob Deese covered the seventh and eighth innings by retiring all six hitters he faced before handing the ball off to Landon Tomkins for the final two innings.
Erie took advantage of a Curve error in the ninth inning to score its only run, but Tomkins struck out Izaac Pacheco with a runner at second to wrap up the win.
In his first at-bat in a Curve uniform, Robert Hassell III singled home Keiner Delgado in the top of the first to get the Curve on the board. Later in the first, Will Taylor bunted home a second run with two outs.
Taylor added a sacrifice fly in the third inning as part of a 3-for-4 day. Delgado added two hits.
Saturday's game
Erie hit three home runs in the first inning to take a 4-0 lead and cruised to a 10-6 win over the Curve on Saturday night.
The SeaWolves hit six home runs in the win.
Titus Dumitru slugged his 15th home run of the season as part of 3-for-5 day at the plate with three RBIs for the Curve.
