After a big Altoona Curve offensive output on Saturday night, their game with Akron on Sunday night -- the last of the six-game home series -- was postponed due to inclement weather.

The teams will make up the rained-out game on Thursday, Sept. 10 at PNG Field when the RubberDucks return for the final week of the regular season. The doubleheader is slated to start at 4:30 p.m. with a pair of seven-inning games.

Fans holding tickets to Sunday's game may exchange them for another game this season based on availability.

Tickets must be exchanged in person at the box office.

On Saturday night at PNG, Will Taylor and Murf Gray each recorded four-hit games in Altoona's 12-3 win over the RubberDucks in front of 7,319 fans.

Pirates outfielder Oneil Cruz went 1-for-5 with an RBI in his fourth game on major league rehab with the Curve.

Altoona tagged Akron starter Sean Matson for six runs across the first three innings. Taylor notched his eighth home run of the season in the third inning with a three-run blast to put the Curve up 6-0.

Matt King, Jesus Castillo, and Robert Hassell III each added two hits and drove in a run. Lonnie White Jr. reached base three times with a trio of walks. Keiner Delgado drove in a pair for his 12th multi-RBI game with the Curve this year.

Altoona begins a six-game series at Binghamton on Tuesday at 6:07 p.m. Peyton Stumbo will start in the series opener for the Curve with Gary Gill Hill slated to start for the Rumble Ponies.
