Cincy Bengals missing receivers

NFL notes

By The Associated Press 1 min read

CINCINNATI -- Cincinnati Bengals wide receivers Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins did not practice on Wednesday.

Coach Zac Taylor has labeled them as "day to day" for Sunday's game against the Dolphins.

Chase is in concussion protocol, and Higgins has an adductor injury. With Andrei Iosivas and Colbie Young also injured, the Bengals' receiver depth is being tested. Dohnte Meyers and Mitchell Tinsley are the top healthy receivers.

Meyers, who spent two years in the Canadian Football League, has stepped up with significant catches. Tinsley was able to rejoin the team after injuries opened up a roster spot.

Dallas a favorite

Undrafted rookie Jalon Daniels played well enough to win his first career start despite two picks that led to 10 points in a 17-14 loss. He needs more help from teammates. The Buccaneers, 8.5-point underdogs, (0-4) haven't covered the spread in 13 straight games, the longest losing streak ATS in the Super Bowl era. Dak Prescott and the Cowboys (2-2) scored 34 points against Houston's defense and can get better tonight against the Bucs. AP pick: Cowboys, 26-19
