MILL HALL -- Danny Dietrich made his first trip to Clinton County and left with $6K last weekend.

He started on the front row alongside Justin Whittle for the 35-lap PA Posse Sprint Car feature event. Dietrich took the lead at the drop of the green flag and led the field into turn number one.

After a yellow flag on lap three, Dietrich held off Whittall on the restart while Dietz began to apply pressure for the second position.

Lap traffic became a challenge as the field completed lap 10 with Dietrich leading Whittall, Deitz, Freddie Rahmer of Salfordsville and Hanover's Troy Wagan Jr. On lap 14, Dietrich made contact with a lapped car. He kept this car under control to maintain the lead, as Whittall and Dietz closed the gap.

Dietz made the pass for second place on lap 27 and tried to reel in Dietrich. Australian, Ryan Newton, who started seventh moved into the top five on lap No. 28. As the laps continued to wind down, Dietrich continued through lapped traffic with Dietz, Whittall, Wagaman and Newtown racing in the top five. Dietrich took the checkered flag with a margin of victory of 1.84 seconds over Dietz, Whittall, Wagaman and Newton.

Sixth through 10th were Freddie Rahmer, Logan Rumsey of Manchester, Mike Thompson of Newtown, Lucas Wolfe Mechanicsbug and JT Ferry.

Matt Dixson Sr. of Julian and Jillian Maurer of Elysburg started on the front row of the 270 Micro Sprint Feature.

The caution flag waved before the completion of the first laps, when two cars got together and spun. The field came back to green, and Jeffrey Weaver had the lead by the completion of the first circuit.

Weaver held on for the win.

Hunter Flook of Avis and Larry Beachel of New Columbia started from the front row of the four-cylinder main event.

Flook took the early lead over Beachel and Jimmy Moyer. Garrett Watkins raced into third place on lap No. 3.

On lap nine, Moyer had taken over the lead of the pack, following an incident between Flook and Watkins. Moyer was leading Matt Weaver of Madisonburg, Beachel, Curtis Lawton of Danville, and Codey Beaver of Sunbury.

On lap 11, Beaver secured the third spot. Moyer continued to lead the remaining laps until the checkers fell to earn the win over Weaver, Beaver, Watkins, and Lawton. Sixth through 10th were Richard Eldred of Renovo, Ken Smith of Beech Creek, Kevin Trimpey of Bellefonte, Beachel and Flook.
