LOYSBURG — Mylee Mitchell struck out 18 batters for the fourth time this season, while allowing only two hits and one walk in a 12-2 win for Northern Bedford over McConnellsburg in high school softball on Saturday.

Mitchell helped herself at the plate as well, with three hits, including a double and triple.

Bristol Barton added three hits and three RBI, while Mackenzie Dick had three hits and two RBIs. Willa Poteat hit a three-run home run to end the mercy-rule victory in the sixth inning.
