PORTAGE -- Josh Papcun won the 200 dash and 400 dash for the Portage boys in a meet with Conemaugh Township and Northern Cambria, and Kendall Bednarski won the long jump and triple jump for the Portage girls in high school track and field on Wednesday.
The Portage girls went 1-1, beating Northern Cambria, 86-56, but falling to 88-57 to Township, which beat NC, 99-42. Calla Miko won the shot put, and Johanna Noel won the pole vault for the Lady Mustangs.
The Portage boys fell to NC, 89-56, and CT, 113-36. The Township boys topped Northern Cambria, 80-69.

Krimmel wins two
WINGATE -- Bishop Guilfoyle Alex Krimmel won the boys 200 and 400 dashes in a meet with Penns Valley and host Bald Eagle Area on Tuesday.
Jack Singer won the 800 run for the BG boys. Winners for the BG girls were Isabella Bianconi in the 400 dash, Sophie Fiore in the 3200 run and Jayden Pooley in the discus.
