McCall helps Williamsburg baseball down F-M in 3 innings

WILLIAMSBURG -- Jase McCall went 3-for-3 with three RBIs as Williamsburg routed Fannett-Metal, 15-0, in three innings Friday afternoon in high school baseball action.

Ethan Reffner fired a two-hitter with five strikeouts for the Blue Pirates and also drove in three runs. William Lower had two hits and three RBIs, Andrew Clark had two hits, and Konner Harker had two RBIs.

CC falls in 12

EBENSBURG -- Central Cambria and Bellefonte needed extra time to determine a winner as the Red Raiders outscored the Red Devils by two in the 12th inning of an 11-9 win.

With the game tied at 6-6 at the end of seven innings, the two teams pushed one run across in the 10th to extend the contest even further.

Bellefonte put four runs on the board in the top of the 12th before CC's rally fell short after scoring twice.

Rocco Barra led the Red Devils with three hits and three RBIs, while Derek McConnell roped three hits, including two doubles, and Ben Howard recorded three hits.

Jake Kirsch delivered two hits and JD Brouse tripled for Central Cambria.

Evan Mattern fronted the Red Raiders with four hits and knocked in four runs, while Ollie Thornburg tallied three RBIs and Braeden Fortney added two hits.

Glendale loses

FLINTON -- Lance Masser smacked a home run and drove in three runs to help Conemaugh Valley defeat Glendale, 10-5.

William Palmer had two hits and two RBIs, and Joey Toth went 3-for-4 for the Blue Jays.

Levi Hamilton homered and drove in two runs for Glendale, which also got two RBIs from Parker Heffner.
