The Blair County Sports Hall of Fame’s 21st induction dinner will be televised on Altoona Public Access Channel 14 this week.

Airing times are: Tonight at 8 p.m., Thursday at 1:30 p.m., Friday at 5:30 p.m. and Saturday at 6 p.m.

The event, held April 11 at the Blair County Convention Center, drew 800 people.

Hall of Fame inductees were Dave Baker, Cathy (Cronin) Beam, Lori (McConnell) Elgin, George Geishauser and Kristi (Little) Kaack. Bob Moore received the Hall’s Lifetime Achievement Award.

Scholarship winners were Zaelinh Nguyen-Moore of Altoona Area High School and Jake Kissell of Bishop Guilfoyle Academy.

Hannah Storm of ESPN served as the guest speaker, and KDKA-TV’s Bob Pompeani was the master of ceremonies.
