The Altoona Area High School girls basketball team is headed to the PIAA semifinals.

The Lady Lions outlasted Cardinal O’Hara, 38-37, in overtime on Friday in the PIAA Class 6A girls quarterfinals at Cumberland Valley High School in Mechanicsburg.

Altoona will play either Canon-McMillan or Dallastown in the semis on Monday.
