ANALYSIS: Central Mountain decided to opt out of the playoffs after going 0-4 against Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference opponents, setting up a rematch between Johnstown and Hollidaysburg for the District 6 championship.

The first matchup this season between the Trojans and Tigers was decided in overtime and injuries played a major role. Hollidaysburg leading scorer Kasen Metzger was unable to finish the game with an ankle injury that led to him missing a few games, and Johnstown had to deal with point guard Raheem Braswell fouling out with 2:09 left in the fourth quarter.

The Golden Tigers went just 10-for-20 from the foul line in the first meeting but won eight straight games after losing until Monday's clunker at Bishop Guilfoyle where they lost by 21 points in a game that was never competitive. Both Hollidaysburg and Johnstown boast deep teams that depend on balanced scoring, and there's a good chance this year's meeting will be much closer than last year's 68-52 Trojans victory.
