NBC boys fall to Berlin
BERLIN — The Northern Bedford boys basketball team was eliminated from the District 5 Class 2A playoffs Wednesday night, thanks to a 52-42 loss at Berlin Brothersvalley in high school action.
The Panthers, who finished the season 9-14, jumped out to a 15-10 first-quarter lead before Berlin got back in it and led, 22-17, at halftime. Berlin (17-6) gave itself a nice cushion with a 24-point third quarter for a 46-35 lead heading into the final frame.
Nevin Lloyd led NBC with 14 points. Jordan Foor added 12 points. Carson Jandlo led Berlin with 18 points.
