GCS boys finish regular season perfect

HOLSOPPLE — The Great Commission boys basketball team finished its regular season at 18-0 Friday night, downing Johnstown Christian 60-38, in high school play.

It is the first time that the Bears finished a regular season undefeated since the 2005-2006 season.

Alex Guise had 21 points and 11 rebounds to lead Great Commission, which also got 12 points from Elijah Best and 12 points from Landyn Ulrich.

The Bears will next compete at the Allegheny Christian Athletic Association tournament next weekend against either Meadowbrook Christian or Calvary Christian Academy.
