PC boys, Hollidaysburg girls earn wins
CRESSON — Penn Cambria used a 10-point edge in the second quarter to create separation from Central Cambria in a 59-48 victory in high school boys basketball action Wednesday.
Caden Gibbons poured in a game-high 23 points and pulled down 12 rebounds for the Panthers, while Landon Semelsberger registered 14 points and Blake Lilly finished with 11.
JD Brouse led the Red Devils with 16 points, while Brayden Swope added 12.

HOLLIDAYSBURG — Hollidaysburg used a seven-point scoring difference in the third quarter to pull out a 37-31 victory over Tyrone in girls basketball.
Alana Lightner posted 10 points to lead the Lady Tigers, who won the third by a 14-7 margin after trailing by one point at the half.
Rylan Crowell recorded a game-high 14 points for the Lady Eagles.
