Oregon quarterback Dante Moore has decided to return to the Ducks next season rather than declare for the NFL draft.
The 20-year-old Moore announced his decision on Wednesday on ESPN.
Moore completed nearly 72% of his throws for 3, 565 yards, with 30 touchdowns and 10 interceptions this season. Oregon finished 13-2. Moore had been forecast to be the second quarterback selected in the NFL draft, behind Indiana quarterback and Heisman Trophy winner Fernando Mendoza.

n Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi officially added Joe Bowen to his coaching staff. Bowen joins Pitt as the program’s linebackers coach and run game coordinator. Bowen comes to Pitt after serving as defensive coordinator and linebackers coach at the University of Buffalo from 2024-25.
n Notre Dame coach Marcus Freeman thinks his players need to do more next season and in the future to avoid another playoff snub. Roughly one month after the Fighting Irish being left out of the 12-team postseason spurred public criticism from athletic director Pete Bevacqua, Freeman dialed that sentiment back. In a wide-ranging 35-minute news conference, Freeman also said he was happy being the Fighting Irish coach but would not definitively rule out taking an NFL coaching job sometime in the future.
n Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq and safety Dillon Thieneman have declared for the NFL draft. Sadiq, a 6-foot-3, 245-pound junior, had a team-high 51 receptions for 560 yards and eight touchdowns this past season, his first as a starter. He was expected to be a first-round draft pick. Thieneman announced on Wednesday that he was also forgoing his senior season. He finished the season with 96 tackles, including 3.5 for loss, as well as five pass breakups and two interceptions.
