The Altoona and Tyrone high school swimming teams split a meet on Friday as the Tyrone boys claimed a 123-37 win over Altoona, while the Lady Lions got past the Lady Eagles by a 90-64 victory at the AAHS pool.

The Golden Eagles had three double winners as Owen Dunklebarger (200 IM and 100 butterfly), Patrick Van Kleunen (100 freestyle and 10 backstroke), Matthew Eckenrode (200 and 500 freestyles) won twice each.

Ella Heverly (200 IM and 500 freestyle) won twice for Altoona girls, while Emma Bonsell (100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke) won twice for the Tyrone girls.
