Coach Brad Lear’s quote: “JJ is a great player that dedicated himself to the grind. As a constant presence in the gym, this spring/summer he committed to work on his offensive game — adding range to his jump shot and working off the dribble. After football season, we worked on conditioning, finishing and further developing his inside presence both with footwork and pivoting. Always willing to put in the work to improve his skills, he has become a threat both inside and out (45% on 3-pointers), plays both ends of the floor, and it is great to see his dedication and efforts pay off.”
