Raylin Eyer leads Altoona girls basketball to easy victory over Chambersburg

Raylin Eyer knocked down four 3-pointers and totaled a game-high 14 points as Altoona cruised past Chambersburg by a 53-17 final at the Altoona Fieldhouse on Friday night in high school girls basketball action.
Brionna Hudson also posted double figures with 10 points for the Lady Lions which led 18-1 after the first quarter and 39-4 at halftime.
With the game fully in hand, Altoona scored 14 points after the break and Chambersburg recorded 13.
Altoona’s record improved to 6-2 on the season.

Tyrone escapes
TYRONE — Tyrone trailed at halftime, but came back in the second half to get a 51-49 victory at home against Bedford.
Lola Woomer paced the Lady Eagles with 26 points on the night, including three treys.
Claire Lehman added nine points for Tyrone, which was down 28-23 midway through the contest.
The Eagles turned the contest around in the final two quarters as they outscored the lady Bisons by a 28-21 showing.
Katie McDevitt had 25 points to lead Bedford, while Kasey Shuke came through with 13 points for the Lady Bisons.
Tyrone improved to 4-1, while Bedford fell to 3-5.
