Three Pitt players were named to the 2025 All-Atlantic Coast Conference team Tuesday, linebackers Kyle Louis and Rasheem Biles, along with placekicker Trey Butkowski. They each earned second-team All-ACC honors.
Louis started in all 11 of the games he played in, compiling 81 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries. The redshirt junior earned ACC Linebacker of the Week honors twice this season.
Biles finished the regular season as Pitt’s leader in tackles (85), tackles for loss (12) and defensive touchdowns (2). Biles returned both of his interceptions for touchdowns this season. The Ohio native also added 2.5 sacks, three pass breakups and a forced fumble.
Butkowski converted 19-of-22 field goals (86.4%) and 41-of-42 extra-point tries as a true freshman. He finished the year a perfect 13-of-13 on field goals from inside of 40 yards. Butkowski finished first in the ACC in scoring (9.8) and second in field goals per game (1.90) in 2025.
The Lou Groza Award semifinalist went on to set a Pitt record for consecutive field goals made, converting 16 in a row at one point this season.
Eight additional Panthers received All-ACC Honorable Mention recognition: wide receiver Kenny Johnson, offensive tackle Ryan Baer, offensive guard BJ Williams, defensive tackle Francis Brewu, linebacker Braylan Lovelace, cornerback Shawn Lee Jr., safety Cruce Brookins and punter Caleb Junko.
