STATE COLLEGE — Altoona placed four players in double figures in a 67-42 win over State College Wednesday night in girls high school basketball action.
Raylin Eyer led the way with 14 points, Zaelinh Nguyen-Moore recorded 13 points and eight assists, Brionna Hudson totaled 12 and Kendall Cogan finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds for the Lady Lions, which led 31-14 at halftime.

Gorsuch shines for Pirates
CLAYSBURG — Levada Gorsuch poured in a career-high 38 points on 17 made field goals to lead Williamsburg to a 68-9 rout of Claysburg-Kimmel.
Gorsuch, a junior, now needs 10 points to reach 1,000 for her career, while LeeAnna Royer also reached double figures with 14 for the Lady Blue Pirates, which led 28-0 after one quarter.
Alexa Francona’s five points were tops for the Lady Bulldogs.
