Impressive turnaround for Lady Lions

PITTSBURGH — The Altoona Area High School girls basketball team improved to 4-2 Monday night, thanks to a 51-43 win over Mount Lebanon in area scholastic play.
The Lady Lions got 18 points from Brionna Hudson in a game it trailed, 19-11 after one quarter.
Altoona turned it up in the second half, out-scoring its opponent 27-15, including 17-1 in the third quarter.
Altoona also received 16 points each from Raylin Eyer and Zaelinh Nguyen-Moore.

WILLIAMSPORT — Makenna Weimert delivered a triple-double with 15 points, 12 rebounds and 10 steals to help Hollidaysburg down Williamsport, 63-32.
Clare Padamonsky contributed 15 points and 12 rebounds for Hollidaysburg, now 4-1, Alana Lightner scored 13, and Jillian Sidney added 10 points.

The Lady Hornets (3-1) got 19 points each from Anna Taylor and Aubrey Anderson. Taylor also pulled down 13 rebounds.
Huntingdon (2-4) was led by Kiayah Walters’ 23 points.
