TYRONE — Tyrone used a pair of strong quarters in the second and third to pull away from Bedford in earning a 67-34 victory on Friday night in high school boys basketball

The Golden Eagles owned the middle frames by outscoring the Bisons by a 42-12 score.

Eli Woomer drilled seven 3-pointers on his way to a game-high 30 points for Tyrone, while Ben Walk tossed in 12.

Clay Wagoner led Bedford with nine points.

Chris Wagner led all Mountain Lions with 11 points on the night. Malakai Shields pitched in with eight points.

The Trojans, who had 11 3-pointers on the night, got 16 points from Grayson Kegerreis.

WARFORDSBURG — In what was just a 4-point game after three quarters, Northern Bedford was outscored in the final period in an 81-58 loss on the road at Southern Fulton.

NBC, which trailed 53-49 heading into the final frame, lost the fourth by a 28-9 margin.

Nevin Lloyd led the Panthers with 17 points for the night, while Jordan Foor also scored in double figures with 13 points.

Trentin Cain paced the Indians with 22 points.
