FLINTON — The Glendale girls basketball team improved to 3-4 Thursday night, thanks to a 56-34 win over Moshannon Valley in high school action.
The Lady Vikings, up 24-22 at halftime, got 19 points from Sophia Leiden.
The Damsels, who were outscored 32-12 in the second half, were led by Saige Hamer’s 11 points.

CURWENSVILLE — Anna Taylor and Mazzy Hartman each had double-doubles in Juniata Valley’s 60-10 rout of Curwensville.
Hartman had 19 points and 10 rebounds, Taylor had 18 points and 10 rebounds. Aubrey Anderson contributed 10 points, nine assists and seven steals for JV (5-1).
Curwensville fell to 0-5.
