Sophia Fleck picked up her fifth shutout in goal for the Great Commission girls soccer team in a 6-0 win over Calvary Christian Academy in a game played Thursday night at the Penn State Altoona soccer field.
Alexa Hall scored two goals for the Lady Bears, who led 2-0 at halftime en route to their 9-2-1 record. Senior Kayelynn Summers scored on senior night for Great Commission.

Hole-in-ones
There were two hole-in-ones made at the Windber Country Club on the same day.
Wes Dunlap made one on No. 15, 105-yards long on the par-3 hole. He used a 56 wedge. It was witnessed by Scott Dunlap and Bob Dunlap. Nate Seidel made his the par-3 No. 13 hole, 62 yards long. He used a 55 wedge and it was witnessed by Nick Gruss, E.J. Beidle and Bryan Parkinson.

Braedon O’Donnell, of Cresson, made his first hole-in-one while playing golf at the Summit Country Club in Cresson. He made the shot on the par-3 No.4 hole 110-yards long, using a sand wedge. It was witnessed by Jacob Martynuska and Mason McCarthy.
