EBENSBURG -- Central Cambria split a high school swim meet with Clearfield on Wednesday as the CC girls won easily by a 115-50 score, while the boys fell 107-62.
Lindsey Hodge (50 and 100 freestyles) and Kathleen Hodge (200 IM and 500 freestyle) were double winners for the 5-1 Lady Red Devils.
Tanner Braniff was the lone Red Devil (5-1) to claim first as he captured the 100 breaststroke.

Tyrone boys, Lady Tigers win
HOLLIDAYSBURG -- The Tyrone boys and Hollidaysburg girls captured easy wins in swimming action as the Eagles defeated the Tigers 105-61, while the Lady Tigers came out on top with a 122-34 score over the Lady Eagles.
Tyrone won all three relays, while Hollidaysburg had three double winners in Andrew Shanafelt (200 freestyle and 100 butterfly), Kaden Henderson (200 IM and 100 backstroke) and Charlie Pollock (50 freestyle and 100 breaststroke).
On the girls side, the Lady Golden Tigers claimed the three relays and had Kara Neeley (50 and 500 freestyle) win twice.

Altoona hockey pulls away
Leading by a goal after one period, Altoona put five pucks into the back of the net in the second period of a 10-4 victory over Johnstown in high school hockey on Tuesday at Galactic Ice.
Ricky Crum registered a hat trick for the Mountain Lions, Cayden Helsel totaled two goals and an assist, while Noah Staines had two goals and Ryan Marinak notched two assists.
