EBENSBURG -- Ava Barra recorded a goal and an assist for Central Cambria in a 2-0 win over Bishop Carroll-McCort Thursday afternoon in girls high school soccer action.

Morgan Brandis netted the other goal for the Lady Red Devils, while Katie Ford tallied an assist.

BCC wins big

TYRONE -- Calee Kennedy recorded three goals and an assist to help Blair County Christian cruise past the Grier School 9-2.

Gabi Dull totaled a goal and two assists, while Kadee Spinazzola, Allison Hall, Rylie Oldham, Makayla Huston and Jena Kane added one goal apiece for the Lady Bobcats.

Meghan Andersen came through with a hat trick for PC, while Megyn Stipanovich, Chloe Karabinos and Danielle Farabaugh added one each.

Marlow Schorner's goal off a feed from Michaela Edson lifted Great Commission to a 4-3 overtime win over Southern Huntingdon.

Alexa Hall recorded a hat trick to lead the Lady Bears, which trailed 3-1 at one point in the second half before scoring two to knot the contest.
