EBENSBURG -- Central Cambria wrapped up its second straight Laurel Highlands Athletic Conference Section 2 golf championship by shooting a 310, and besting second-place Bishop Guilfoyle by 31 on Tuesday afternoon in boys high school golf at Ebensburg Country Club.
CC's Austin Semelsberger shot a 71 to best his closest competitor by four strokes in leading the Red Devils.
Central Cambria teammate, Jake Kirsch, was second with a 75, while Cambria Heights' Ian Nagel, playing as an individual, was third with a 78.
Central (367) was fourth in the team finishes, and was followed by:, Tyrone (372), Penn Cambria (373), Bellwood-Antis (380) and Bishop Carroll (381).

BOALSBURG -- Altoona delivered its fourth consecutive win with a 405-423 victory over St. Joseph's at Mountain View Country Club.
Kai Hillegass' 79 was tops for the Mountain Lions, while St. Joe's Maddie Koshko earned medalist honors by shooting a 65.

JOHNSTOWN -- Trae Kargo posted a 41 to earn medalist honors as Portage defeated Conemaugh Valley by forfeit due to the Bluejays not having enough golfers to count as a team at Berkeley Hills Golf Course.
Jonah Irvin shot a 42 to finish one stroke behind his teammate for the Mustangs.

Eagles cruise
TYRONE --Tyrone had no problems earning a 5-0 victory over Clearfield in girls high school tennis.
Nicole Ramsey and Emma Witkamp earned singles victories, while Ezri Bumgarner earned hers via a forfeit for the Lady Golden Eagles.
The teams of Cassidy Fleck-Jocelyn Diehl and Emily Christofer-Grace Zimmerman came out on top in doubles play for Tyrone.

Altoona triumphs
DuBOIS -- Altoona dropped the third doubles match, but won six other matches contested in a 6-1 victory over DuBois.
The Lady Lions swept all four singles matches as Isabella Graham, Courtney Irwin, Skylar Irwin and Emma Hovan were victorious.
The No. 1 and No. 2 doubles teams of Orlana Dent-Kaylee Swain and Mary Worley-Madison Marketta came out on top.
