Novak’s second-half goal the difference for Eagles

TYRONE -- Tytus Novak scored the game-winning goal and assisted on another as Tyrone got past Central Cambria, 2-1.

Noah Gulvas got the Eagles on the scoreboard with a goal in the first half, while assisting on Novak's goal as well.

Rocco Barra netted the goal for the Red Devils..

HOLLIDAYSBURG -- Hollidaysburg erupted for eight goals in the first half on Chestnut Ridge en route to a 9-1 victory at Tiger Stadium.

Owen Naugle and Luca Waibel accounted for two goals each, Micah Blake had a goal and two assists, while Asher Miles, Bryce Hollingshead, Andrew Chestney and Yven Chen added one goal apiece for the Golden Tigers.

Dominic Ponder scored the lone goal for the Lions.

Marauders shut down

Bishop Guilfoyle Academy dropped to 1-2 with a 4-0 loss to Forest Hills at Tom Irwin Field.

Kaden Carpenter scored twice for the Rangers (3-0), who got six saves from keeper Isaac Valko.
