Little sparks AAHS girls past McDevitt

Alli Little scored all four goals, and the Altoona Area High School girls soccer team edged Bishop McDevitt, 4-3 at Mansion Park on Saturday.

Little’s penalty kick with less than eight minutes remaining broke a 3-3 tie. Ava Frye and Sophia O’Dea notched assists for Altoona, now 5-2.

TYRONE — Olivia Newlin and Kadence Berry each scored two goals, and Briley Campbell had one in the Tyrone girls’ 5-2 win over Philipsburg-Osceola.

Jace Black scored the only goal of the game on a free kick to lift the Altoona boys to a 1-0 win over Bishop McDevitt at Mansion Park.

Keeper Luke Mitchell recorded the shutout.
