Highlanders take care of Guilfoyle

Cambria Heights recorded three goals within a five-minute span Monday in the first half to take control against Bishop Guilfoyle in earning a 5-1 win at Tom Irwin Field in boys high school soccer.

Cameron Abrams fronted the Highlanders with two goals, Nate Conaway had a goal and assist, Levi Link collected two assists, while Mason Eckenrode and Ethan Kline netted one goal each.

Andrew Burke recorded the lone goal for the Marauders off a feed from Aiden Carney.

DUNCANSVILLE -- Seth Nicodemus scored five goals, including the 100th of his career, and had three assists in Blair County Christian's 11-6 victory over Mt. Carmel Christian.

Silas Marucci recorded a hat trick and two assists for the Bobcats, which led 9-2 after one half, while Donovan Bickings netted two and Blake Grissinger added one.

Lady Lions lose

SUNBURY -- Altoona got down less than 30 seconds into its contest with Shikellamy and couldn't come back in a 5-2 loss.

Sophia O'Dea and Alli Little registered goals for the Lady Lions, while Lia Sankey contributed an assist as Altoona saw its eight-game win streak end.

Jillian Deivert netted all five goals for the Lady Braves.
