LATROBE -- The Altoona Area High School boys cross country team downed Gateway and Latrobe in a tri-meet on Wednesday.
Andrew Quinn placed second for the Altoona boys, who beat Latrobe, 23-36, and Gateway, 15-50. Latrobe topped Gateway, 15-50.
The Altoona girls beat Gateway, 15-50, but fell 24-32 to Latrobe, which also beat Gateway, 15-50. Altoona's Ashlyn Noce finished second in the girls race to Latrobe's Emerson Skatell.

BELLEFONTE -- The Bellwood-Antis girls topped Bellefonte, 27-28, and Bald Eagle Area, 17-42, at Governors Park.
Blake Pennington, Julie Kraft and Rylie Andrews finished 3-4-5 for the Lady Devils.
The Bellwood boys beat BEA, 27-32, but lost to Bellefonte, 22-35. The Bellefonte boys and girls beat BEA, 22-33, and 20-37, respectively.

MARTINSBURG -- The Central boys beat Penn Cambria, 15-50, but fell to Forest Hills, which also beat Penn Cambria, 15-50.
Central's Braden Allison placed third, and PC's Ryan Girard was fourth.
Central's Lanee Berkhimer won the girls race, but the Lady Dragons lost to FH and PC by 15-50 scores. The FH girls topped Penn Cambria, 17-40.

CC teams sweep
LILLY -- The Central Cambria boys and girls swept a tri-meet at Lilly War Memorial Park.
Dom Kuntz, Ethan Haycisak and Reed Takacs finished 1-2-3 to lead the CC boys over Hollidaysburg, 18-42, and Bishop Carroll, 15-50. The Hollidaysburg boys beat BC, 15-49.
The Lady Devils claimed the first seven places with Abigail Sheehan, Paige Alexander and Alaina Sheehan taking the top three in 15-50 wins over Hollidaysburg and BC. The Hollidaysburg girls beat BC, 19-44.

TYRONE -- The Tyrone boys outran Penns Valley, 22-29, Philipsburg-Osceola, 22-35, and Clearfield, 20-35, with Tom Sutt, Alex Brumbaugh and Aiden Detwiler finishing 2-3-4 for the Eagles.
The Tyrone girls beat P-O, 25-30, but fell to Penns Valley, 28-29, and Clearfield, 20-43. Sophia Witkamp was second for Tyrone.

HOMER-CITY -- The Portage girls edged Purchase Line, 28-31 behind Josephine White's second-place finish.
The Portage boys downed Homer-Center, 24-31, but fell to Purchase Line, 27-28. Logan Gentile and Ayden Westover finished 1-2 for the Portage boys. The PL boys topped Homer-Center, 19-36.
