lose first game
SPRING MILLS -- In a battle of unbeaten teams, Claysburg-Kimmel lost its first game of the season on Friday, falling at Penns Valley, 5-4, in high school softball play.
The Lady Bulldogs, who led 4-1 going into the bottom of the fourth, got two hits from Emalee Cavender and solo RBIs from Jenna Helsel, McKenzi Black, Jaylee Swindell and Payton Hinish, who got hers on a solo home run.
The Lady Rams are 5-0.
