Nittany Lion fans realize that to be competitive, it takes up-to-date facilities, great recruiting, fan support and attendance, excellent coaching, and, of course, money.
However important this money factor of the NIL has or will become, your top recruits want to win and hopefully be in the national spotlight in most years.
Being 11-11 the last two years is not exactly what the recruits and certainly the ardent Lion supporters are willing to be satisfied with, knowing we must do better.
If Franklin wants that additional NIL money, then he has a lot of work to do to earn it.

Nadal in tennis class by himself
I am so excited that Rafael Nadal won his 14th career French Open title earlier this month.
He defeated Casper Ruud, 6-3, 6-3, 6-0 to become, at age 36, the oldest champion in French Open history.
He also extended his record of grand slam men's singles titles to 22.
I think Nadal is not only the greatest men's tennis player of all time but also the greatest French Open player of all time, men's or women's.
