Carol Jean Weaver, 69, Altoona, died Saturday. She was born in Altoona, daughter of Betty (Hetrick) Boslet and the late James Marlett. Surviving are her husband, Alan; her mother; daughters: Jessica Clapper, Letitia Clapper, Laura Miller and Julia Boore; 10 grandchildren; a brother, Jeffrey Marlett Sr. (Carol); and sister, Andrea Boslet. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Russell Miller; and her stepfather, Irvin Boslet. Ruth S. (Allison) Guyer, 95, of Claysburg, passed away Saturday, Jan. 31, 2026, at the Bella Rose Home. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Guyer; a son, David Guyer; and a daughter, Nancy Wallace. Friends will be received from 9 until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2026, at Fink & Stone Funeral Home, Woodbury, with Pastor Michael Benner officiating. Theodore “Ted” Holobinko, 94, of Houtzdale, passed away Friday, Jan. 30, 2026. He was a son of the late Harry and Mary (Russian) Holobinko. He served with the United States Air Force during the Korean War. On Nov. 17, 1956, he married Jean (Sternesky) Holobinko, who preceded him in death.
