Rebecca E. Kubica, 43, of Altoona, passed away Saturday. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of Judy (Williams) and the late Anthony Kubica. Surviving are her sister, Crystal; her mother, of Altoona; two nieces, Jasmine and Jaden; nephew, Solomon; a great-nephew, Weston; and best friend, Boog. She was a 2000 graduate of Altoona Area High School and worked as a CNA. Becca enjoyed going on mission trips, all things outdoors, baking, gardening and painting. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2026, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg.

Joseph A. Ott, 48, of Altoona, passed away Friday. He was born in Altoona, son of Sheryl (Conrad) and the late John Ott. Surviving are his life partner, Kellie Campbell; a daughter, Katherine Ott; a son, Damien Ott; a granddaughter, Aurora; his mother; grandmother, Catherine; siblings, Angela Beard and John Ott; and his nieces and nephews. Digger graduated from Altoona Area High School in 1997. He enjoyed being with his family and raising his family. There will be no public services.
