Cheryl Diane ‘Sherry’ Kowalczyk

Cheryl Diane “Sherry” Kowalczyk, 69, Portage, died Wednesday. She was born in Roaring Spring, daughter of Paul Yetsko and Dolores Yetsko Mutch. She was preceded in death by her father; and stepfather, Frank Mutch. Surviving are her mother; her husband, Daniel; and children: Jena Vinglas, Daniel Kowalczyk and Kaylee Eger; eight grandchildren; and a brother, Dennis Yetsko. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home Inc., Portage. A funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 13, 2026, at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, Wilmore.

Patricia Ann Noel, 71, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Melvin “Pete” and Rona (Schroeder) Nedimyer. She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Noel; a brother, Robert Nedimyer; and an infant brother, Mark Nedimyer. William K. Sunderland, 57, of Coalport, passed away April 4, 2026, at UPMC Altoona after an extended illness. He was born in Altoona, a son of Jack Jr. and Deb (Horvath) Sunderland. He was the husband of Vicki L. (Parson) Sunderland, with whom he shared 13 years of marriage. William was a graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School in 1987.
