Disappointed in Lakemont’s direction

Lakemont Park has lost its meaning of being a park. It used to be a place to have a good time and a lot of fun. Riding all of the different amusement rides during a visit was what a good day at the park had been. There were places to buy a lot of park-based snacks. The most popular was candied apples. This November the voters in Logan Township will have the opportunity to re-elect Supervisor Joe Metzgar for another term in office. Metzgar has served the township well for over two decades. As a young person who got into politics to make a difference in my community, I know that everything I accomplished would not be even remotely possible without the sacrifices of the late Charlie Kirk. Kirk was such an inspiration to me and countless others, and I can only imagine the pain his family felt in his absence. HASD should focus on real issues

The Hollidaysburg Area School Board recently voted unanimously to change the language in Personnel Policy 321.
