Sen. Dave McCormick and Rep. John Joyce supported and voted for the Big Beautiful Bill. They should be ashamed of themselves. Millions of people in their districts can no longer afford health insurance as marketplace health coverage has been reduced by over $1 trillion. Millions of children, the elderly and disabled, and the poor now have to choose between buying food or medicine as billions of dollars have been cut from the SNAP program. Those benefits were shifted to corporations and tax cuts for the wealthiest households, and over $4 trillion was added to the national debt
I do not know how anyone can still think President Donald Trump is competent. The economy has been going sideways since he started his second term and initiated tariffs and the war with Iran. He doesn't even have a concept of a plan. He has millions of dollars for a ballroom, a reflecting pool and an arch, but he doesn't care about the lack of health coverage or food for millions of people. And it still bothers me that he bombed 160 schoolgirls in Iran.
