The saying “what’s good for the goose is good for the gander” certainly does not apply to our president.

Donald Trump has once again cast another mail-in ballot in a recent Florida election as he continues to publicly bash that voting as a source of election fraud. He uses his normal strong arm practices with Congress to pass a bill that would abolish the mail-in process. Such a move by Trump once again displays his “two faced” way of governing in his corrupt administration. His SAVE America Act is his and the Republicans’ move to curtail citizen’s right to vote and impact elections.

The Constitution gives the states the power to establish and conduct elections, not the federal government. Trump calls mail-in voting “corrupt as hell” and a “fraud.” However, after years of investigating the results of the 2020 election, no meaningful examples of election fraud have been found.

I implore all citizens to contact their representatives and senators and urge them to stand up for all citizens, not a bully president. The right to vote is a major foundation of Democracy. Don’t let Trump and his cronies take that away from you. Vote no on the SAVE America Act.
