What are Trump and the Republicans doing to our country? Trump lies about the economy and says that grocery prices and unemployment are lower than ever. Apparently, he and his administration have not been in a grocery store lately. Last month was the worst January for job cuts since the Great Depression. But Trump has made approximately $1.4 billion dollars since he's been in office.
When Obama was president, he deported 3 million illegals. There were no dragging people out of their homes, schools and churches. There were no beatings or killings. Obama did the job professionally. That seems to be something that the Trump administration knows nothing about.
Are the Republicans telling the truth about Trump's tariffs? These are taxes on imported goods; they cause inflation and make a lot of the things we buy more expensive. These tariffs or taxes have altered the world economy and not in a good way. They have caused a lot of businesses to shut down as other countries don't want to buy American-made products. They have tanked the lumber industry in Pennsylvania.
Did we have any of this disruption in our country and our economy when the Democrats were in office? Absolutely not. When both Obama and Biden left office, they left a booming economy, low unemployment and excellent relationships with other countries.
In order to stabilize the country and regain good relationships with our allies, we must get the Democrats back in office. Please remember this when you vote.
