What if we had no political parties? What if we had to form our own opinions? I guess we would not know who to hate.
Now, if you pick one team, you kind of automatically hate the other team. I'm not really sure how you pick your team. With this much hatred in the world, it should be easy? If you're pro-choice, you're on this team. If you're against guns, you're on this team, etc.
It's confusing to me because there are folks on both teams who like some of these things, but not all.
I'm not really into politics. I vote for who I like.
It's obvious many people enjoy yelling and screaming, usually on social media, at anyone who claims to be from the other party. I have friends who are elected officials who've told me that they've had strong feelings toward one agenda, but can't vote accordingly or they'll be ousted by their party. That seems backward to me.
I thought it would be super easy to pick a Republican from a Democrat. So in a store, I tried guessing five random people's affiliation. I got four wrong.
If happy is scrolling Facebook three hours a day trying to convince someone your opinion is right and they're an idiot, then knock yourself out.
If you're just getting tired, know you can do other things. Go for a walk/run, ballgame or park. Try other stuff. You may love it. The 6:30 news will always be there.
