Let Charlie Kirk’s fate motivate you

2 min read

As a young person who got into politics to make a difference in my community, I know that everything I accomplished would not be even remotely possible without the sacrifices of the late Charlie Kirk.

Kirk was such an inspiration to me and countless others, and I can only imagine the pain his family felt in his absence.

Every young person involved in politics knows they are standing on the shoulders of giants, and Kirk is perhaps the largest of all of them.

We need unity, but we also need justice.

Moving forward without understanding how we got to this point would be a grave mistake.

When the left uses terms such as '"fascist" and compares a duly elected president to some of the most evil men in history, we should not be surprised when some unwell individuals decide to take it into their own hands.

Charlie Kirk was one of the most talented, intelligent and moral people of the last century, and to watch some justify and glorify his death is beyond disgusting.

These same people should not be surprised when they face social consequences for their vile acts of celebration.

Apologizing and deflecting blame for the assassination of a true patriot and hero should be condemned with conviction.

Immediately after his death, I felt the courage of my convictions and decided to triple down on my commitment to civic engagement as I gained a new metric of success.

I know my life was a success if I lived even a quarter as moral a life as Charlie Kirk did.
