I have known Lou Schmitt both professionally and personally for over 30 years. His career has prepared him well to serve as a member of the Blair County Bench. He is an experienced trial lawyer, an arbitrator, mediator and, since 2018, an elected State Representative. He has appeared before the Courts as an advocate and has helped parties resolve their disputes expeditiously outside of the court room. As a Representative, he understands the legislation that may be part of an adjudication.
