Schmitt will be fair, effective judge

1 min read

In the May 20 primary election, Blair County voters will be asked to select two candidates for judge of the Common Pleas Court from among four well-qualified candidates. I am casting my first vote for Lou Schmitt, the candidate who stands head and shoulders above the rest in so many ways.

I have known Lou and his family for many years, and I can attest to Lou's strong faith and family values. During his tenure as a state legislator, Lou put the interests of the citizens of Blair County first.

I watched him on public TV many times as he grilled public officials, always holding their feet to the fire and demanding answers to his pointed questions.

Lou is an effective litigator, always putting the best interests of his clients first. He understands the law and I am confident he will be a fair and effective judge.
