On May 20, we have the opportunity to elect two candidates to serve Blair County on the Court of Common Pleas.
Lou Schmitt has served the residents of Blair County for more than three decades and has displayed all the qualities that meet and exceed the duties of judge. In my opinion, Lou will ensure fair and professional administration of justice.
Lou will impose appropriate penalties for criminal offenses of convicted criminal defendants. Lou will promote community outcomes such as ensuring our Probation office is properly staffed.
Last but not least, Lou's actions, that have been transparent for the past 30 years, have clearly displayed that being fair and professional, he will maintain and enhance the public trust of our justice system that we all expect and deserve.
