I can say without a doubt that Lou Schmitt is the right choice for Common Pleas judge in Blair County.

As a retired Pennsylvania railroad worker, I appreciate Lou’s deep respect for the workers in the railroad industry that built our region. One of his grandfathers came to this country from Bavaria to work as a laborer for the PRR in 1907 and his other grandfather worked as a welder at Sam Rea in Hollidaysburg.

His father worked as an electrician at the Juniata Shops. Lou understands the values of hard work, fairness, and standing up for what’s right. His experience as a lawyer and a legislator has prepared him well to serve as a judge with integrity and compassion.

He knows the law, but more importantly, he knows the people it affects. Lou Schmitt will be a great judge for all of us here in Blair County.
