I first met Lou Schmitt several years ago at a church dinner. I was new to the church and Lou didn't know me from Adam, but he and his wife Helen approached me and we had a pleasant conversation. My wife Judy and I no longer felt like strangers, but felt we were welcomed in that community.
Since that time. I've followed Lou's political career and felt he's always had the best interests of the people of the 79th district at heart. I believe he will continue to serve Blair County residents as judge of the County Common Pleas Court, while providing fair treatment to those who come before him.
I would urge you to vote for Schmitt for judge in the upcoming primary election on May 20. The last day to register is May 5, while May 13 is the last day to request a mail-in or absentee ballot.
