Party switch raises concern
Voters should be concerned about AASD school board candidate Bryant Giselman. While currently running as a Republican, public records show he previously ran for office as a Democrat. Voters deserve to know why.
Party affiliation often reflects core values — especially on education. Has Giselman’s stance on curriculum, parental involvement, or school policy genuinely changed, or is this a political move? What Republican principles does he now support, and are there Democratic positions he still holds?
School board members shape what our children learn and the values our schools promote. We need leaders who are consistent, transparent, and guided by principle — not political convenience.
I urge voters to ask fair, direct questions and expect honest answers. Local elections may not make national headlines, but their impact on our families is real and lasting.
